We look forward to seeing you and your family soon!

Volunteers make Fort Belmont great!

Thank you to all our board members and volunteers for your time and effort in 2015! You ARE appreciated! Fort Belmont is looking for more people to help in the coming year. We have various projects and opportunities for all ages. Are you interested in preserving the history and sharing the stories of early days in Jackson County? It takes the talents of many to keep the Fort open and ready for visitors throughout the summer season. The Fort is a great asset for our community of Jackson. Please consider volunteering this year. Contact a Fort board member, the Jackson Chamber of Commerce or send us an email. Whether you have a little time or lots of time, we would really appreciate hearing from you.

Come see us in 2014!

Fort Belmont is open and in full swing for the summer season. We hope you will stop by to visit and check out the numerous displays and artifacts. WWW services are happening on Sunday evenings. Click on the link to the right for a listing of church sponsors and worship leaders.

Gearing up for a great 2013 season at Fort Belmont

Thank you to everyone who supported this year's Fort Belmont annual Spring Fundraiser! Your generosity is appreciated. This year we were also grateful to receive supplemental funds from the Jackson County Chapter of Thrivent for Lutherans. Volunteers worked at the Fort this past weekend for spring clean up. A number of projects are slated for this spring/summer including painting of the farmhouse and summer kitchen, moving the old gift shop onto the site and landscaping around the grist mill. The Delafield church is also in need of paint. Hopefully we will be able to get all accomplished this year. Make plans now to stop by Fort Belmont this season. We hope to see you soon!
